H.I.S. HOME 300 Sunday
The third annual H.I.S. Home 300 took place June 22-27. This year the dream of more than
one leg of the HH 300 was realized with the addition of the Southern Route sponsored by
Athens United Methodist Church in Athens, IL. The Southern Route was lead by Mary Grant
who participated in our inaugural ride. Combined this year’s ride saw 37 riders
complete the 300 mile course.
All money raised by the H.I.S. Home 300 will be used for the benefit of the 124 children
that call H.I.S. Home their home. H.I.S. Home for Children is a nondenominational
Christian Ministry which cares for orphaned and abandoned children in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
Hal & Chris Nungester, founders of the orphanage and each member of the HH 300 team
wish to thank you all for your prayers, financial support, well wishes and treats!
God knows the needs of His children and continues to bless them. So far nearly $38,000
in pledges has been collected for the 2009 H.I.S. Home 300. Please join us to hear more
about our exciting, HOT, and windy ride!
